Introducing Bexter's Sister...Maggie Doodle!

Well...I finally got a sister for Bexter!  Her name is Maggie.  She is a year old F1 standard goldendoodle with apricot coloring!  She is the sweetest sister Bexter could ask for.  It is so cute the way they interact together!  They play nicely, but lay down and snuggle quietly too.  She is actually the most mellow dog I've ever seen in my whole life.  I feel like my doodle family is complete now!  As you can see, the kids are crazy about her too!

Oh my gosh, so excited for you guys! Congrats on your lovely new addition--can't wait to hear how the adjustments go! (I recently have gotten the itch for adding a second dood myself...)

Honestly, this was so meant to be.  There really is very little adjusting...The only thing is the dogs aren't eating as much as normal. I've read former posts on DK about that and evidently it is pretty normal.   Also...Maggie wants to sleep with DH and me in our bed...but she weighs 60 pounds.  Last night was her first night here & we let her, but geez...We need a king sized bed now!  I'm thinking she needs a doggy bed in our room instead.  I am so tired!  Other than that...no complaints at all.  She is sooooo sweet.

I missed the part that she was a year old and was shocked when you wrote she was 60 lbs, then re-read your post to see she was a year. That makes more sense than a 60lb 8wk old puppy, haha. :)

She is so beautiful! We got our second doodle about a month ago and Chloe, our new addition, is just now starting to eat better. She only wants to eat when im standing where she can see me which is hard, but she is finally starting to go to the food bowl by herself. Out other doodle is 90 pounds and Chloe is 55 pounds and they both sleep on our bed! We have a king size bed and it's still hard to find room to sleep! We tried doggy beds but neither of them wanted anything to do with them. Good luck with Maggie!
