Last night I went to bed just exhausted. After I got the kids ready for school I laid back down and Hurley jumps next to me and nuzzles his nose in my arm and laid there with me.he kept staring at me probably saying "what is going on with you Momma, let's go dig a hole Momma, I just want to go out and did a hole, can we, can can we??" that is how is he acting, just as happy as can be and doesn't understand he has these things on his head that will cause his life to be threatened. So he just follows me around trying to figure out what is up with me...I am turning in to no fun...(Hurley and I have this bond..which we all doodle moms and dads have...I am in total love with him and he thinks I am the sun to his universe...you all understand what I am saying :)

Then I get up open up my email and see all these responses to Hurley and I....thank you again...Please get use to me saying this a lot..! Strangers who just started to get to know us and what to donate to Hurleys surgery. My aunt called me and is thinking my bank may be willing to start up a trust for Hurley and that money will go straight to Hurleys surgeon. I am willing give any info or numbers to his vet for anyone to call and verify Hurleys case...!

I am off now to help in my daughters school! I work in the lunchroom. Helping all the 1st and 2nd graders with opening things, cleaning up their spilled milk and so forth...they are giving me a break..! They are so sweet and loving and keep my spirits so high...along with you all....Thank you

Bless you Regina for being willing to do whatever it takes for your precious Hurley. Lately there have been a few posts from people who have joined DK to find homes for doodles they no longer wanted or could care for.  Those posts made me sad and a little angry.  How did you happen to find DK because you sure found the right place for love and support. Count me among those who are willing to donate for Harley's surgery. Give Harley a big doodle hug and keep your chin up.

OK, please don;t be mad at what I about to say ..I know what it is like to lose a precious fur baby (3 in the past year and a half). You said he is the only one that doesn't know he is sick!

If you feel Hurley is looking at you like...come on mom, let's go dig a hole....then go dig a hole with him.  There has been so much out there about how we project our feelings onto out animals that it might be some of the best medicine for Hurley and more importantly You!

You need to take care of yourself and enjoy every minute with your sweet boy.....Do what you used to do with him. Take him to his favoirte places, go on walks and love every minute you have with him, play and run and be a silly doodle....

As I am typing this I have tears in my eyes....Please know that I only mean love for you and Hurley!!!
