Spring 2012 Doodle Romp

It is time for the annual Romp Around the World (RAW). Ours is scheduled for Sunday, April 29th so please mark your calendar. We have been blessed with such a mild winter, early spring and all round gorgeous weather. Let's hope that our doodle romp will also be blessed with good weather.

April is such a busy time, so we hope that you and your doodle will be able to join us. It is always fun to get together with old friends and as always we will be welcoming many new faces. Our community of doodle enthusiasts just keeps growing and growing and growing. It truly is fun to spend the day watching your favorite doodle playing with doodles of all colors, sizes and ages. It is also delightful to connect with other owners to chat, laugh and share doodle stories.

Everyone is welcome, doodles, honorary doodles, doodle families and future doodle families so please be sure to pass the word to other doodle families.

We will once again be meeting at Minooka Park. It is a 12 acre fully fenced dog park complete with hills, trees and lots of grass. Dogs must be leashed until you get into the fenced dog exercise area. Please close the gate behind you and watch for the sign directing you to the right. You may want to bring water for your dog because there will a lot of running. There are limited benches. so you may want to bring a lawn chair too.

I so want to attend with my doodle - can someone please tell me how I can cancel out of a 1st communion shindig in order to be at Minoka Park. The excuse has to sound "legit"!

Wilson is pretty excited about attending today !!! We have to leave a little early to get back home Our Neighbor's daughter got engaged yesterday (YEA) but they are having a get together at 3 so celebrate, I told them we have to go somewhere and will be back at 5 A little late, but . . . .
