"We brought Bailey home 2 weeks ago and "knock on wood" things have been easier then expected.  She goes in her crate willingly, sleeps through the night and lets us know when she needs to go outside.  Biting is limited and she stops when told.  Last night she taught me something new.  She gets very unsettled around 9PM, we take her out, feed her, play with her but nothing seems to make her happy.  Last night when I got tired of her walking from couch to couch I put her in her crate.  What did she do?  She went to sleep for the night!  She has been trying to tell us she is tired and wants to go to bed.  Overall I am very happy with my new baby.

She's doing great!! She sure is cute too and a beautiful color! Ours is that same color but looks like a small retriever. They are a joy!

Gail - it sounds like you are intuitive and attentive to your puppies needs and that is so great.  Believe it or not, some people do not get it.  Puppyhood was a happy time around our house (oh yes there were the piddles here and there but the good far out-weighed the not so good). And once you start obedience training it only get better and better.

Oh and by the way, Bailey is a real cutie!

She has such a sweet face. And I love her coat color. It is so nice when they take to the crate right away. Preserves some of your sanity.

Luna used to get VERY whiny when she was tired as a puppy.  She still lets us know when it's bed time by "hinting" towards the bedroom.

Enjoy your new baby, she's so cute!

Welcome home Bailey. Glad to hear she is doing so well.
