A BIG THANK YOU FROM DRC!

Thanks to all our wonderful DK friends, DRC has raised a little over $1500!  We're half way to our goal of $3000 to replenish the DRC veterinary fund.  As we highlighted in our discussion last week, because so many Doodles have been coming into the DRC program with severe medical issues our funds for vetting new dogs are dangerously low.  We do not ever want to be in a position to have to refuse to provide help to Doodles in need.  For so many of us who have "DRC Doodles" or have come to know and love these rescued Doodles through the DK website, the possibility that our dogs might not have been saved is just unthinkable.  So, DRC is holding a raffle with some great prizes.  In our original discussion we did not post the date of the drawing for these awesome prizes....it's going to be Friday, April 20th during YAPPY HOUR!

Folks I can attest to the fact that DRC really does need your help.  Dogs really really need our help.  Instead of buying a new squeaky toy, throw it to dog who has nothing but Heartworm and let's get this show on the road.

Ollie asked me to donate $5 for each one of his paws since he is our happy DRC doodle but Cubbie asked me to donate Ollie. I think I'll make Ollie's donation, but Cubbie is out of luck because he is stuck with Ollie  :)

Well Heck, I don't know but just blame it on me if it wasn't.   Challenge your friends to FIVE BUCKS!  Let them know, there were so many Heartworm positive dogs who needed to be saved and now help is needed to rescue more.
