Hey everyone...I took Hurley in to meet with his surgeon. When he looked at him he decided to go ahead and remove the ones between his eyes today...I was thinking Friday..so I was a little surprised that he was going in today..

He thinks the surgery will go well..Hurley is going to stay overnight tonight. He is getting the surgery late this afternoon. They would like for him to stay the night to watch him. I should be picking him up tomorrow morning...

Please keep Hurley in your prayers today...I will send an update this afternoon when they call me and tell me he is out of surgery..

Thank you all for your kindness, thoughts, prayers and donations to help Hurley get this surgery...you helped save our dog....

He is only getting the cysts removed between his eyes...they said maybe 1 month from now will be the ones on top of his head...

I will send an update later this afternoon...

Regina, Maybe this is a better way to go and didn't give you much time to over worry about Friday. I can't wait for this to all behind sweet Hurley and your family. I will be thinking about you all today!!!

I agree! I hope the surgery goes very well and Hurley will soon be home with you! Good luck, Hurley Boy!

I agree with Laurie - this will minimize your "worry" time - boom, it will be over.  We have said our prayers for Hurley today - we will be waiting to hear how he is doing!!!!

Wishing for success!

I hope everything goes well with the surgery.

Good luck sweet Hurley! Can't wait to hear back from you!

Good Luck today Hurley!

Regina I know it will be a long day & afternoon for you - waiting for their call.

I hope you can keep busy & try not to worry too much.

Yes..it will be long...this is the first time since I had him that he won't be with me...he has never spent the night away from his family..I won't know what to do tonight...

I will try and stay busy...
Thank you!

I know how you feel, Regina. This past December, Jack had to spend the night at the veterinary clinic after a procedure, and he had never spent one night away from me in the six years I'd had him.

It's hard, but try to relax. This is going to be a good thing, getting rid of those cysts, and he'll be back home before you know it!

Sending positive thoughts Hurley's way...

Thinking of you and Hurley!!!!!!!!

Thinking of you and praying all goes well for Hurley. Will be anxiously waiting for your update. Hang in there, I know it's got to be hard. He's your baby. :-(
