What do you have too much of?

I once posted about my leash & collar obsession - Rooney & Stuart have matching leashes and collars for every holiday and various themes and since that time I have added to the collection.  So yesterday I decided to clean out a few drawers and little storage boxes and I came across my finger nail polish collection.  I decided I should go through it and get rid of the old stuff, colors I don't wear any longer, etc.  I remember doing this about 6 months ago - so how come I still have so many bottles?  Do I have a problem?  It got me to thinking - what other things do I have to excess?  Hmmm - my hotel card-key collection?  My cookbooks?  Lipstick?  So confess tell me what you have too much of and post a photo!

Talk about off loading stuff.  I have these AMAZING diamond earrings.  6 carats total.  I'm sure that when I wear them no one would guess that they are real as I don't dress that nice.  So I have a daughter and a step-daugter that are both on the cusp on getting engaged.  I've been thinking of telling both the fellas that they can each have one of the 3 carat stones for an engagement ring.  Would that insult you as the daughter (or step) or the guys.  I wouldn't offer if I didn't KNOW that this was coming for both of them and things now a days are so expensive.  I WILL miss those earrings but sometimes less is more.  You gals please let me know because both guys would still have to pop and find the right settings.

I think that is a wonderful idea as those hug gems will still be in "your" family.  I bet your daughters will be thrilled.

I would be out of my mind thrilled if someone offered a 3 carat diamond for my engagement ring. I guess it all has to do with what they could afford without this offer. The stone could be put into exactly the settings the girls are hoping for. Congratulations that both girls have found their forever home companions. ;o)
