Advice Needed – Can We Leave Our Puppy?

Once again I need to call on experienced doodle owners for advice. My husband and I accepted a wedding invitation before we got our pup. The wedding is in NYC and will require us to be away from home for 2 nights. My mom has already agreed to take Duncan for us. She has puppy sat for us for a few hours at a time here and there, so he is familiar with her, her house, and her dog who he loves to play with. Duncan is four months old.
 
All that being said, are we bad doodle parents for leaving him for two nights?

Sounds like you have the perfect situation with your pup going to grandmas. Not a bad doodle mommy at all. I know I would feel bad if I had to board him ( if up on shots ofcourse) so young, but that has been done too, when needed and they do fine. Have fun, a NYC wedding is usually so nice!
