My goodness how time flys ~ A big 8 month Happy Birthday wish to all of our doodles today! Care to share weight & height stats?

Hi everyone,

I cannot even believe that the babies are 8 months old today! I was wondering if anyone wanted to throw out their doodles current weight and height info. I am thinking based on our adult doodles that they are getting pretty close to their final destination. As breeders we usually do not do hip xrays between four and 9 months because it is such a drastic growing period. When measuring height, do so from the floor to the top of the shoulders.


Joy is 35 lbs. and 20 in. tall. I am curious to see how they are comparing not only to each other but also to our predictions. I do have to share the worst part of this for me today was getting on the scale myself for the 'pre' weight before I added Joy. There goes that pumpkin pie I was thinking of having for breakfast!

On another note for this litter I did want to share with you that yesterday I received news of the retirement of their daddy, James Brown. Rochelle placed a lovely post on a breeders discussion board. I will copy it later so you can read the wonderful things said of him. She has selflessly chosen to place him in the pet home he is deserving of at only 3 years old.

Happy 8th month Birthday from Tannor to all my siblings! Aren't we growing up so big, and smart! We have our wonderful mama Ella and, dear old dad James to thank for that...and, our "Trinity" home we grew up in for our first few months!

O.K. Tannor is a wiggler...but, I believe he is around 23" tall, and close to 50 lbs....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US.... 8 months, WOW. Yes we are (growing).... Bisbee weighs 38.4 lbs and is 20 in. tall. Well good for James Brown. We hope he has a long, wonderful life with a forever family . . . I know Benny and I send kisses and thank yous to James and Ella for Bisbee, that's for sure. We are in the midst of setting up the "tree" and "Christmas train" (for our grandson) so gotta run ... Oh, and Bisbee is in training not to step on it.... r-i-g-h-t LOL Will keep you posted on that situation. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTERBUDDIES!

Correction.... as of today (11/30 we were in PM and had him weighed) .... 40.3 lbs. he's still 20 in tall :o)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I think Zeke and Tannor are twins. Zeke weighs about 47lbs. and is 22 1/2". I love the size he has turned out to be (any size would be just fine), I thought he would be a little bit taller, more like his mother. Some of the milestones he has passed are - next week he will graduate Advanced Obedience ( best in his class of course - our doodles are so smart ), very sociable especially with people & most all dogs, is smack in the middle of his teenage you're not the boss of me attitudes (except at obedience class). I'd like to add some of the things that have changed in my life since Zeke coming to us - much needed exercise, more social contact with neighbors and strangers (it's amazing how our dogs bring us together), he fills my need to nuture, cuddle, and teach. Ayce is about 35lbs and somewhere between 19'-20' tall. She is a really great size, not too big or too small. She is also very fast!!
