We all have beds, nooks or crannies we particularly like. Sometimes because there are shady spots to sit, or there are really pleasing plant combinations or for any reason at all. Please post some of yours here. The profile photo for the group is one of mine.

Breathtaking!

Aren't they?

Can I bring my chair and come sit in your garden?

Of course!

Beautiful!!!!!

I hope I made it clear those aren't my beds but Louise's, whose name I managed to misspell : ( I wish they and these were mine though. My neighbor has what looks like that Lamiastrium, and I've been wondering what it was. She will just have to share : ) The bleeding hearts you have are lovely but I must restrain myself. As to hostas, I put up  deer fencing since the deer are voracious about hostas around here. But the hostas self perpetuate and multiply otherwise.

I love plants for shaded areas--I don't pay enpugh attention to my shaded areas. Your areas are very pretty.

My garden is so unkempt compared to some but I like it a bit wild and I can't always keep up with all of it. But I do so wish I could let you all smell it. I encouraged honeysuckle for a while and now it has taken over in places. But it smells so wonderful. Here is this year's version of the group profile picture. This was before the red maple on the left, which planted itself, was transplanted elsewhere. The maple was too close to a path and getting too big. It didn't end up with lots of roots but I think it will be fine and will create a nice spot where it has moved.

You mean the shrub on the right with the rosy flowers? That's a weigela, Wine and Roses I think. The wild honeysuckle can get rampant though but nothing smells quite so wonderful.

I have two different kinds of dwarf weiglas, Monet and Midnight Wine and I don't think any of the five shrubs I have has bloomed : )Pretty foliage though.

I would love to come smell your garden especially if that is a screened in porch I spy in the background.  There is nothing like the smell of honeysuckle on a summer evening. Having a porch like that has also been on my bucket list:)
