"THIS JUST IN!!! E-MAIL FROM SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE:

WE ARE AT OUR GOAL!!! With the projected donations coming in the mail over the next few days, we know we will have met the goal!! We just updated the web site with the $2,160 total so far, and we will be updating the site as Sophie has her surgery. Thank you for networking with your people to help us reach the goal. What a great, caring group of people.

I HAVE THE CHILLS AND AM CRYING BESIDES. THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!"

How wonderful! The incredible thing is, this email is now going around the Internet, to all dog lovers, and there will be more money for Second Chance Rescue to help other puppies with health problems.

Sophie's cataracts were not a detriment, they were a gift! Now she will get her sight back and through her story, help other doggies besides! What a special Christmas Angel Sophie is!

...and how special all of you are.

How wonderful!! I've been rooting for Sophie. She's a beautiful doodle and deserves a special forever family. I kind of hope someone from DK is able to adopt her so we can receive updates on her progress long after her surgery.
