Rooney and I shared a moment today in which I thought to myself, "This is exactly the sort of image people need to have when making the decision to bring a puppy or dog into their lives."  It occurred to me that all of our terrific DK members could have a great photo discussion around the topic of:

Doodles are wonderful but...

...their creativity can often be countercultural and goes unappreciated by less progressive minds. In short, they can be messy.

Ned is our paid for doodle and this is what we got:

And then there is our rescue boy who has never chewed paper, gotten into the trash, or unzipped pillows to get at the stuffing:

He can, however destroy stuffies in the blink of an eye, and, like Ned, loves sneaking out the doggy door and playing in the sprinkler mud and dashing back inside to dig into the pillows on the bed - no pictures necessary.

Luca didn't want to miss out n the "fun". Although both doodles still dig or get muddy from time to time, the chewing random things including paper of all sorts is long over. It's almost hard to believe they did some of the things they used to do.
