What size collar for an minatureAustralian Labbradoodle puppy

Ok, so I do not have the puppy yet but it will be born soon and I can not stop shopping. We are getting a miniature Australian Labbradoodle. What size collar should I get?

Would depend on the size of the pup when you finally recieve him/her. If you are like a lot of us, you will have several collars in several sizes and several colors....Part of the Hopeless Doodle Addiction syndrome I'm afraid. You would just measure its neck when you get your pup and buy accordingly. All collars give sizes. I would think you will need pretty small ones. Good luck and congratulations.

we actually started out with a cat collar and moved up in size from there.  our girls were 2.5 and 5 lbs when they came home.

Your breeder might send a collar and leash with the pup. Calla came with them  think. Then you could get a better idea once the puppy is home. I suggest you buy a cheap collar since the puppy will grow out of it soon.

Ned came with a collar and leash and you can ask your breeder if she usually sends one with the pup.  If not ask her to measure the neck just before you pick him or her up and you can go to the store on your way out of town.
