I saw this graphic today on facebook, and really enjoyed it. I thought I would share it with you guys.

What do you think? Has your dog drastically changed your life in any of the ways mentioned on this list? Darwin has definitely helped us be more social, in a big way!

For sure Camilla!  The boys have increased my daily exercise, I have met so many wonderful people that I never would have known had I not gotten the boys...  The trainer I hired for Murph when he was 10 weeks old is one of my best friends now...Murph and Wilson's breeder, Teresa, is a close friend...Linda, Webber and Seda...I love them all so much and never would have met them if I didn't have the boys. Tina and Chris and Mia...I am so blessed to have them in my life and never would have known them without the boys.  My DK Family?  All because of the boys. Seasonal Affective Disorder?  Yep, used to be an issue for me.  PHOTOGRAPHY?  My true love and I think God given talent..only realized because of Murphy.  The list goes on and on and on.  Some days I really believe that my boys are the reason that I am who I am..I love them so very much and they have changed my life forever.

YES, the photography! I had the same experience.

How amazing that you are going to do volunteer work, such a rewarding thing for both of you!

This is a great discussion! Let's see, my doodles have altered my life and ALL for the better. I get more exercise, they have enhanced my responsibility and awareness for animals & nature in general. But most of all their companionship is priceless! They are also the most amazing creatures, their kind gentle natures are wonderful. They are truly a blessing in my life.

I agree, they truly are remarkable.

I couldn't even express all of the ways in which JD enriches my life and my world every day. He's my love, my light, and my inspiration.

Exercise, and more. No way could I appreciate and enjoy all the seasons of the year the way I do with Jack by my side as we walk through the year together on a daily basis.

Friends that I treasure and would never have known without him. The sister I should have had, lol.

Security, for sure. I sleep better with JD next to my bed.

He's given me an example of how to live life with courage and grace no matter what comes along.

Somebody stop me before I really get sappy.

:-) Jackdoodle is truly amazing, and lucky to have such an awesome owner.

I 100% Agree!

Since we got Daisy we are more concerned for her well being than anything else practically which means we get out to the parks, lakes and trails 50% more. Also we worry less about "things", which means we spend way less money. I do have to qualify that line however cause what we use to spend on ourselves we now spend on Daisy in a small way.

This could go on and on but I know so many of you realize the very same.

So true about the switch of money spending. :-)

The Doods have definitely influenced our lives.  I know that I wouldn't get as much consistent exercise without them.   Murph has taught me to be patient and trust that with enough commitment and work things can always get better.  Guinness has taught me to appreciate and celebrate little things I never would have in the past (my happy-go-lucky little boy).

The level of commitment you have to training is truly inspiring to me. I should do better!
