Anyone make their own grooming noose? Or homemade grooming table, supplies, etc.
I have many leashes and collars. Thought for sure I can make something up here at home. I do not need anything fancy, just functional. I'm tired of being on the floor combing out the doodle.
Just want some of your ideas and pictures.

I bought a pneumatic lift table from Harbour Freight Tools. DH fashioned a larger platform from particle board and attached it to the lift table with nuts and bolts after I applied a clear finish to repell water. I added a door mat and a grooming arm with noose. Works really well. Haley gets on the table and I pump it up to a good height to work on him. It saves my back. It did cost some $$s but well worth it.
great idea! I love the size of the wheels on this!
OMD, I love this table. Sorry honey. I know you have one of these in the garage for that saw you never use. It's mine now!
Anne, I have gone with your suggestion and am in the middle of modifying my new hydraulic table. So exciting! I notice that you attach the grooming arm on the side rather than the end of the table. Is there a reason for this? I'm trying to figure out the whole grooming arm issue as this is my first table/arm set up. Thanks!
Ricki, the noose was attached on the side of the table because Haley stands crosswise on the table. I have since put it on the end and he still stands crosswise. Silly Doodle! The table is 24" x 48" but Haley stands in a 24" by about 18" space across the table.
Okay, that is helpful, thanks! Such a funny boy! They do have minds of their own!
I have had only one stroke of brilliance in regard to doodle grooming. I will repeat it here. I put a yoga mat on the table I use to groom the dogs. Both of them are very good about grooming so I haven't needed a noose, but the table was slippery. I tried lots of options but this is by far the best. It is slip-free and it is a breeze to clean up. The hair doesn't stick to it at all.
That's it. End of being brilliant. I can die happy.
Funny, Bonnie! I'll bet you have many strokes of brilliancy...
I love it, Bonnie. I'll add that to the list. Brilliant indeed.
Sounds like a great idea. Going to try that.
