We are adding another Doodle to our family! = )

Yes..call us crazy, but we are getting a new puppy!

He is already 11 weeks old, and is gorgeous.

He is from our same breeder as we got Chloe, and the parents are the same as hers, so I guess he is Chloe's baby brother!

Our breeder called to tell me that all of this last litter had found forever homes, and then one of the families backed out, after having her hold him for an extra 2 weeks past when all the others went to their homes, and then called and said it just wasn't going to work out!! Crazy people, but at least it's better they found out what a flake she was now instead of later!

We told her before that if there was ever a puppy returned, or that couldn't find a good forever home that we would take it, so now here it is. He was actually first pick of the litter too!

So, long story short..it was just too tempting, as we had said many times that we knew we were going to want another one of these amazing dogs, we just didnt know when. = )

For almost 3 years we had been a 3 dog family anyway, until we just said goodbye to our sweet 13 yr old Lab last month, so now we will be a 3 dog family once more..for a long time to come.

We are picking up our new bundle of joy this Sunday, Aug 19th. Can't wait to share lots of pics. We are so excited for our dogs to have a new brother, now we just have to decide on his name!!! We are thinking, Finnley, or Higgins, or Hobbson, or Paxton..Royce, Henley..what do you all think? It has to be an English name, like our Bentley & Chloe.

Congrats!  He is gorgeous! This was the same situation that caused us to get our second doodle too...family put a deposit on (our now) Stella.  They thought their 8 year old son could care for her by himself...yea right lol.  And then they wound up backing out (luckily) before they even took her home.  

I like the name Finnley...you can call him Finn, like Jane mentioned  =)  It just sounds sweet and I think he looks like a Finn ;)

You HAVE to include the Mr. in Mr. Darcy but if that's too girlie, Mr. Darcy's first name is Fitzwilliam.  And you can't go wrong with "Alfred Pennyworth" as a name, either, he's cool AND the name is English.  Of the ones above, Higgins is fun, goofy, and perfect for that stinkin' cute face he has.  Congrats!  I always get so excited when a new puppy finds a great home!  And no matter what name he ends up with he is one lucky pup!
