Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
A friend of mine that owns a golden retriever sent me the link below and I am not sure who to pass this along to, BUT I hope you will read this article and pass it on to the right person. I know that these doodles will find great furever homes through our site and our rescue contacts. I cried when I read this and saw all of those beautiful doodles !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help. I am sending this retriever rescue group a great big thank you for taking them all in.
The site is.....http://www.dvgrr.org/..... The article is at the bottom right of the page titled to the rescue again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

It just blows my mind that there are people out there like that. I just keep hugging Lucy and telling her how happy I am that she came from a good breeder, which was a golden breeder, and never had to go through what sooooo many animals go through. Thank you and your rescue group for all you do.
I checked the DVGRR website and saw all the pictures... brought tears to my eyes, all those beautiful puppies. It was a great thing they did. I have check ready to go in the mail tomorrow to thank them for helping doodles.
I clicked on the contact us tab to get the address and sent a note in an area provided, letting them know I saw the story on here and thanked them for helping the pups.
I'm sure they will appreciate it. If everyone sends them a THANK YOU, they will know how devoted we are to our doodles and are so grateful for their kind heartedness.
I did the same Lynn. It would be great if we all sent a thank you just to let them know how special the doodle breed is to us here at doodlekisses.
Karen, I emailed them last night giving them a big THANK YOU and asking about the breeder dogs. I'll put a check in the mail today. DVGRR does have two rescued puppy mill breeding girls but not sure if they have anything to do with this situation. I doubt it. I'm sure they're crazy busy so I plan to follow up with a phone call today. I couldn't find anything in the local press/ archives which is unusual. I sooooo want the pup that's pulling the girl's hair LOL.
Thank you for your efforts Cheryl. That hair pulling pup is gorgeous, go for it </;-)
I haven't been able to find out much. Neither DVGRR nor the state is saying much about the breeder except that he was breeding multiple breeds. No word on whether he was closed down although I would hope so from the description of the conditions. DVGRR says they have one of the mothers. At least 8 of the pups have gone to their new homes. Maybe more. I pulled this off of Facebook. SO cute! G'Nite from the Doodle Kids.
If you read down further on the facebook wall, it states that they NEVER release the name of the "breeder" and it lists why, From law suits that could occur to the fact that it breaks down communication with other breeders who would maybe surrender their dogs to them as opposed to putting them down.
I love it, they put the dogs first!!!
Jennifer, thanks. That makes sense. I didn't see that on the wall so thanks for pointing it out, but I never asked for the breeder's name, location, or anything related to the pm in my communications because I assumed there would probably be a court case and that kind of information wouldn't be released. And I wasn't interested in that. I was only trying to find out if DVGRR had the mamas to answer the question here. But it looks like some have taken their outrage and misinformation to the internet, further complicating matters. I agree with you - I love that they put the dogs first!
Thank you Cheryl for what you did find out. It sounds like they are all being well taken care of. Look at those sleeping beauties. How cute
Love it!! My kitchen floor looks like this when i have a litter here! DH calls it a "bus accident".
