Dear Abby is an advice column that some of you may be familiar with, the advice given is usually witty and to the point and sometimes with a dollop of sarcasm. I thought it might be fun to have a doodle version so I am borrowing this idea and applying it to doodles. Doods do you have an embarassing questions that you'd like answered? We'll keep your identity a secret, no one will ever know it was you.

Anyone can post a question either real or imagined and I'm counting on all of you for your answers. If it just so happens you have a photo ( of another doodle of course) to go with your question, even better. Of course, there will be no real names used to protect the innocent.

 

Dear Woofie,
I get teased by the other doods because they say I pee like a girl just because I don't lift my leg. What can I tell them to get them to stop teasing me?

It's time to stand up and take it like a man, or in this case pee like a man, it's time to give yourself a leg up so when it comes to teasing you the other doods won't have a leg to stand on.

Dear Woofie,

How can I make the other dogs in my neighborhood understand that the street in front of my house belongs to me and they are not allowed to walk on it? I asked my mom to put my name on the street sign, but she said the village would arrest her for vandalism. She says I do not own the street and other dogs are allowed to walk on it, as long as they are on leashes and they don't pee on her flowers. I disagree! I have tried to chase them away by barking  like a maniac loudly when they walk by, but my mom makes me stop, and they just keep walking on my street anyway. What can I do?

Dear Large and in Charge, I have the same problem in my neighborhood. So try this and if it works let me know. Take a wire and string it across the sidewalk in front of your house at dog leg level. After they trip, the dogs will avoid your area I think. Oh, that may not work here since we don't have sidewalks. Maybe you can think up an idea for me.

I like this idea of tripping them! And their humans, too! I think my human nephew who is 13 might help me with this one, it sounds like it's right up his alley!

Dear Large,

I think your mom is wrong!  It is your street and she needs to put your name on it so that the others know.  She simply needs to petition the city council for a street name change.  JackDoodle is such a nice sounding street name. What's not to like?  I also think she should go one step further and put up barriers at the ends of the block - bushes to pee on would be appreciated.
