So as I'm sitting here folding laundry, I wondered if any of the rest of you have doodles who want to "help" with the laundry folding. We've had to take to putting Molly in her crate whenever we want to fold the laundry we have stacked up, otherwise she will take things and run. We've gotten better at it, where she doesn't just take things anymore but you can tell she's still tempted. Anyone else?

Tank could care less. Sully is an addicted sock thief. When my son was home from college this summer, Sully was in heaven. Dirty or clean, it makes no difference. We watch him closely so he does not swallow them and try to keep them out of his way. When you catch him, he just hangs his head and spits them out.

Harlow will do the same thing, though sometimes she will look at you and wag her tail like she is saying "you dropped this, I was just bringing it to you".

Yes Cory my Doodle does the very same thing!  At first I thought it was really cute and realized very soon this is not good. I actually fold clothes now on top of her crate and for some reason she leaves them alone.  Go figure?

Molly is a sock and child underwear thief. And she will eat them. So we either find them in her crate the next morning when she vomits them, or in her feces. She's QUICK and she just swallows them.

Baker loves bras! There is usually one on the dining room carpet or somewhere in the family room...he doesn't chew them, just carries them around :)
She took over my seat when I got up for a min. She looks so innocent.

She is just darling, Cory.

Halas steals socks and undies, clean or dirty, but he doesn't help me fold.
Ha, Bella can just now be in the same room with a laundry basket without eating socks, washcloths or underwear. She would swallow socks 2 at a time, and I have a blog about her actually pooping them out in matching pairs too. I'm sure it will get better as you train her more to "leave it" .

Doodles have the best expressions and sooooo human too!

I am so lucky that none of my dogs grabs clothing.  We have lost shoes to puppy chewing, but never clothing.

My doodles don't bother too much with the laundry, I guess I'm lucky but Sasha won't let me put on shoes or sneakers or any footwear - LOL  For some strange reason she pushes herself all around me trying to get her body inbetween my hands trying to tie or zipper up - its soooo funny.  I have to put footwear on behind closed doors :)
