Here is a pic of our cruise ship's arrival in St John's ( pretend it facing into the harbour and not leaving). St John's is the oldest city in North America, it is filled with tons of history. There are numerous old churches and historical building that are well worth a visit.

Here are some of the things you will see on your visit.

Don't get into any trouble or you may find yourself here at the courthouse.

Downtown St John's

A visit to The Rooms our provincial museum and archives.

Take a walk through the colorful streets.

Take a hike through an old clift side fishing village.

Take a stroll down Water Street to do a little shopping.

 

If you get thirsty while shopping, check out George Street just around the corner, a street lined totally with restraunts,bars and pubs.

If you want to take a slightly smaller boat you can take a whale watching tour.

Careful, you may get splashed.

Just want to make sure this is a "no kids" cruise.  I don't want to get suckered into a cruise that is centered around kiddo themes - stuck on a boat in the middle of the ocean with a bunch of kids hyped up on sugar and cartoon characters? I may as well stay home :-)

If it is adult doodle lovers, I am in....however my virtual cruise will be temporarily interupted by reality dinner making......I'll just pretend I'm at a chocolate fountain instead of the dishwasher.
