A dream come true! Tales (tails?) from the Doodle Cruise.
We started planning in July of 2011 and the Doodle Cruise was but a dream. All the days of planning and waiting and finally it was here. The chance to meet in person some of my DK IDOLS! From the 1st moment it was truely like we were all old friends - because we really were old friends. This past week was one I will never forget. There were tons of laughs, some tears, dancing, way too much eating and drinking. Doodle talk of course!!! I am way to tired (and want to spend time with Rooney, Stuart and DH) to go into details - those will all come as people get home but I'll share a few photos with you all. Oh and of course WE CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING - some things will have to stay on the ship.
Here is Dori and I at Sail Away - the weather is Miami was getting cloudy - great time to leave.

Jane and Dori are the Red Solo Cup twins! What's in your cups girls?? I see them in nearly every picture (wink, wink).

Red Solo Cup - I fill you up - lets have a party!!!! On Carnival you may "carry-on" 1 bottle of wine per adult, a small amount of soda and they have a BonVoyage Department that will be more than happy to charge you 3 times the going rate and have bottles in you cabin. It makes the sail so SMOOTH - giggle.

Here was our room in case anyone wants to see one. We did upgrade to a bigger room. We decided since we have been married 34 years and never had a real (non family) vacation, it was time.
Every night we came back to find an adorable towel animal on our bed and two pieces of chocolate :)
Here is that adorable Doris in Margaritaville.
F, This one is for you. John with an Astronaut, although I forget which one. I just wanted you to know we did some "learnin" too.
