A dream come true! Tales (tails?) from the Doodle Cruise.

We started planning in July of 2011 and the Doodle Cruise was but a dream.  All the days of planning and waiting and finally it was here.  The chance to meet in person some of my DK IDOLS!  From the 1st moment it was truely like we were all old friends - because we really were old friends.  This past week was one I will never forget.  There were tons of laughs, some tears, dancing, way too much eating and drinking.  Doodle talk of course!!!  I am way to tired (and want to spend time with Rooney, Stuart and DH) to go into details - those will all come as people get home but I'll share a few photos with you all.  Oh and of course WE CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING - some things will have to stay on the ship.

I think this picture is the only time I have ever seen Brian.  Since he was sick on the trip, I never got to meet him.

Amy (Cubbie & Ollie) and her dad, John and Deanna (Sedona) and her friend Kathy - sadly for some reason I didn't get a picture of - I was lazy with my camera.  Others will have some though so I'm not too worried.  Beautiful people all.

I managed to avoid a picture.  I am not a picture person...my eyes always end up closed or I have some stupid expression.  Oddly enough, the dinner picture of me and the wandering pirate turned out really well, but I forgot to go back and buy it.

Jane ~ Thank you for posting all these wonderful photos.  It is nice to put a face with the names I have seen on DK.  You all obviously had a wonderful time.  Welcome back and I hope to meet some of you next year!
