I want to create a baby book for my new puppy, similar to that of a human baby book. I haven't done much scrapbooking in the past, so any ideas you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated.

Try finding a local scrapbook store that has classes or crops. A friend of mine (in Canada) found a local Michael's craft store that offered crops/classes. Magazines can also be full of ideas.  I just googled puppy scrapbook layouts and there were several links that popped up.  Getting started is the hardest part.  There are so many tools and supplies and it is easy to get overwhelmed.  Start simple and connect with someone who is already scrapping to help get you started.  Creative Memories, Stampin Up and Close to my heart all offer scrapbook "parties" with a consultant (think tupperware for scrapbooking).  Check out those sites as well.  I would stay away from dollar store supplies as the quality is not as good as a scrapbook/craft store.  Make sure your papers are acid and lignan free to preserve your photos.

I'm fairly new to this site so I'm not sure if you ever got a chance to do your baby book.  I did a full layout on "Bringing home Sasparilla".  Please see the post on my page regarding scrapbooking.  I'm not clear on how to cut and past with attachments?  I'm a hardcore scrapbooker/demonstrator and we have a wonderful digital scrapbooking program called Studio J.  I also create traditional scrapbook pages with papers.  I have tons of ideas if you want to do something out of the box so to speak. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
