I will attach photos of Axel at 5 weeks, 10 weeks, and 20 weeks. He is still very "golden retriever" looking, but developed curls and waves. No shedding yet. My fingers (and toes and eyeballs) are crossed that it stays that way!

At 10 weeks:

And at 20 weeks:

Those paws!!!

Oh I think Axel still has time to really doodle out!  He is adorable!

Darling ...and I also agree that Axel will be pretty doodly

Here are some pics of my "poster dog for golden-y goldendoodles", Luna.  She is a F1 mini/medium goldendoodle.  She sheds her coat seasonally (Spring/Fall) and a little in between, since her coat has a determinate length (her body hairs only grow to 2" and then fall off). I would say her coat stopped changing at about 1.5 years old.

At 11 weeks: (She looked like a very petite golden puppy).  Notice the lack of "fluff" obscuring her eyes

At 1.5 years.  You can see that her coat is quite short and it's been that way since she was about a year old.  She does shed, but her hair doesn't mat at all, so it requires almost zero maintenance.  I take a Furminator (shedding brush) to her hair when she's going through seasonal shedding, but her hair has never been clipped.  Only scissor cutting in a few places that I do myself.

Love that last one of Luna as a mighty hunter!

She certainly THINKS she is a mighty hunter.. she tries to snatch birds out of the air and regularly kills flies :p

Love the mighty hunter look

 She IS really cute !!

Well I tried the black shirt test when I went to visit the litter and well.... FAIL ! Big bummer...really hoping the hair came from one of the other pups... we shall see..
