Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

2-3 years ago Chris Christensen Systems provided us with some grooming goodies for a contest we had on DK.  Last week I contacted them again to see if they'd be interested in giving us some prizes in exchange for us promoting their products/company.  I didn't get a response, but within a week I found a package from them on my doorstep.  When I finally opened the package I found 12 T brush rakes.  NOT what I'd asked for, but hey, beggers can't be choosers.  Not being familiar with this brush I wasn't sure what it was intended for.  I searched their catalog and their website and found no mention of this particular product.  So, I took some pictures and am bringing it to all of you, since nobody has responded to my inquiry yet.

What kind of coat would you say this brush is intended for?

I use the same kind of pin brush on Luci, she's a slightly curly fleecy coat.  I have 2 of them, my daughter took the second as she loves it for her hair :D

I have a feeling you have the one F, Calla & Luca linked to below.  This is a diff one.  I should do a side by side comparison shot.

Here it is I think:

Supposedly for detangling.

But it is NOT that.  This is a rake.  I have the one you linked to already and this pack of 12 brushes is NOT the regular T brush.

Yes, I see the teeth are different. More research needed : )

I think maybe it's this one from their outlet store and perhaps they are not making it any more. See bottom of page.

Looks like that one!  Rake bathing brush?  Odd.

Found this on their outlet site (the last one on the page). It looks the same and is the same number A414.  Says it's a bathing brush??  Not sure what that means however

Well I'd have to go get it and look, but it sure looks like a brush that I bought from them about 2 years ago.  It is very useful after bathing to get the fur started on fluffy again.  I use it after baths and it helps make quick work of things.  I like it.  I think that the tings are longer on mine?

Good to know!  Now I know what to tell people about it.  Wish they didn't send me a discontinued item, but I'm glad you found it helpful after baths.

Hurley is a wavy fleece and is in the molting stage.  That looks like it might be a bit to much for a wavy fleece but I am still in trial and error stage with brushes for Hurley now that he is in the molting stage.
