November 2012 Assignment Things We are Thankful For

Not only is it a new month, thank goodness, because the end of the old one really was disastrous for a big part of the country but it's Thanksgiving in no time. So the suggestion Jane, G and M made, which lots of us liked seems particularly apt. We had a great October in terms of the assignment. The calendar pictures distracted me through a grim post storm day, too.

For the past couple of days I've been thinking about how grateful I am for dogs. They are so incredibly loving and pure. I see dogs who've been abused and dumped, ripped away from their homes and family and still manage to be optimistic happy creatures who just want to be near you. If only people were so forgiving and wonderful.

Kramer the Kuvaz, he was dumped when his owners got divorced. The other two were also dumped by their families, with no explanation. All three were sweet boys who were wagging their tails. Amazing. Dogs are just the best!

Stunning photos! You always manage the happiest photos of dogs in dire circumstances! Kudos to you Camilla. There must be magic in that camera or you are the "Picture Whisperer" :) I'm grateful for your photos!!!
