November 2012 Assignment Things We are Thankful For

Not only is it a new month, thank goodness, because the end of the old one really was disastrous for a big part of the country but it's Thanksgiving in no time. So the suggestion Jane, G and M made, which lots of us liked seems particularly apt. We had a great October in terms of the assignment. The calendar pictures distracted me through a grim post storm day, too.

I've already told the shelter that I would do that type of event and give them 100% of the profits. They told me that people in this area probably won't pay to have portraits taken of their pets (not a lot of doting owners in this area). If they do end up doing something like that though, I'd be happy to do it and give all the proceeds to them.

I actually have turned photography into a business, and do portrait and pet sessions now. It's really fun, and it's a perfect job for a college student. Flexible... :-)

Today I'm thankful for Autumn. And Autumn in Utah especially. It's so, so beautiful and the weather is just perfect. I am never as happy as I am from October to November. Love the weather, love the holidays, I love it all. :-)
