Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Shiloh came home from vet tonight. The vet said that Shiloh was extremely lucky that he did not lose his eye. He found that Shiloh had punctures and lacerations within centimeters of eye. He has to wear a cone for 10 days except when eating or if I am right with him supervising. He has 4 antibiotics daily and painkillers.
I know it could have been a lot worse but still this really really hurts me to see him like this..
thanks for all your caring and comments. They have helped,.
This does not look like just an accident playing with a ball and an English Bulldog to me.
Yes, they say they do temperment testing and only put your dog with like dogs. Clearly, not so.

Hugs!
Such a sweet Shilow. I am so sorry this happened to you. Please tell your mommy that she is a good doodle mom and not to feel guilty. I know she loves you so very much! Prayers for healing and any trauma he may have suffered from this.
Shiloh must be happy to be home...it's so upsetting that this happened when he was just trying to have fun...
You might want to get him an inflatable collar...they are much more comfortable for the dog than the cone...I got Baker one this week...it's made by Kong...it's just an inflatable circle that is held on with their own collar with a soft covering on it. He eats, drinks, & plays with it on...he doesn't fight it at all...
Hoping Shiloh heals quickly :)
Poor Shiloh!! I hope the daycare center is taking care of all the vet bills.
This is terrible. I feel so bad for both of you.
How horrible! Hoping for a speedy recovery
Ohhhh pooooor baby :( I hope Shiloh feels better soon, sending doodle hugs your way.

My goodness!! Poor little guy.I hope he heals well.
I hope that you have had an indepth discussion with the daycare owners and that they have seen the extent of your dogs injury. They should be paying the full shot.
This does not look like a playful injury. What are they doing aboutthe other dog?
