because Stuart is ALL GROWN UP!  Sure I have another 6 months to belong to puppy madness group because Stuart is only 1.5 yrs old but today he got his 1st hair cut.  Sure he has been trimmed before but never cut and his hair was very long giving him a cartoon look that people just loved but I suddenly knew that it was time to let it go.

Before

After

Stuart looks pretty happy about it don't ya think?

I'd be willing to bet she used scissors. You can't get this kind of look and this kind of length, with clippers.

Stuart does look adorable and mighty pleased with himself.  He's getting to be a "big boy" now just like Rooney:^)

He kept that same adorable puppy like face though!

I think he looks gorgeous before and after.

He is a sweetie with a long or shorter coat.

Heis a georgeous doodle. I love his haircut.
What a great dog Stuart is! His personality shines!!! Love the before AND after.

Stuart looks amazing! What a wonderful groomer you have!

Still as handsome as ever Mr Stuart!!!

He looks great Jane, your groomer did a wonderful job. Love his smile!

I'll tell the truth about Stuart's coat.  We never brushed him, ever.  His hair was long - 12 inches in some places mostly about 10 inches.  It looked terrible brushed - like a cotten ball.  He is a shedder although with his swimming he lost most of his hair in the pool.  His hair would seperate into dreadlock like curls and it was beautiful.  Plus because he has an undercoat - he dries very fast, he rarely has ever had a matt.  We loved his long look but I feel this has to be better for him as he is so active.  Also - as many of you read my prior post - if we ever had to or someone else had to use the Epi pen on him - this would make it easier to get a "good" injection.  :)

Hey, don't jinx it!
