This is cute. Lucky for me, it has only been my cats that belly up to the water basin of the tree, and drink it dry ! Good grief, if Finnley even tried it would be a disaster for sure ! She has been an angle with her "first" Christmas tree !

Luckily mine haven't cared one bit about our tree.  They checked it out but haven't shown real interest in it since their quick sniff when it arrived.  Same every year.

I was so nervous about it the 1st year. But except for interest in ornaments it makes sense...dogs don't go crazy for trees outdoors either. Other than marking a trunk if another dog had before...

Ha, cute. Mine haven't seemed to care about the tree either since it arrived. I don't think they could even get to the tree stand because the tree is so full at the bottom. But who knows....

I have a fake tree with berries and mini pine cones on them. Zoe likes to go under the fake tree and nibble on the fake pines, fake cones, and fake berries. It's really annoying especially because all that plastic nibbling is bad for her if she eats it. We have to have a baby gate around the tree.

Happily, my 7 month old boy has not done more than an initial sniff of our real tree.  the lights are on, but not the ornaments so this might change.  keeping our fingers crossed!
