OMG! I just opened the newspaper & saw the wedding pictures of the Yun family. The mother, 2 babies & grandmother were killed when a military plane crashed into their house. They took wedding pictures on my dog chariot with Xena & Karma. I was returning from doing the Grinch at the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park. Their photographer was taking their wedding pictures. They asked if they could take pics on my dog chariot. We did. Here are a few of the pics. Now Youngmi Lee, her 2 babies & her mother are dead & Don Yoon has lost his whole famly! You can see him on TV how shocked, sad and broken he is. I only had an hour with them. They were so happy. OMG! He must have lost his album in the fire. I wonder if at some time in the future I should offer him the pictures or offer through his pastor? I didn’t remember their names. I didn’t know I knew them til I saw another wedding pic of them in the San Diego Union Tribune this morning. I’m in shock! OMG! I’m in shock! Now I'm crying.
Oh my goodness. How sad. It would probably be better to wait. He must be in shock right now. The pictures are beautiful. My heart goes out to the family.
Such a sad story. It would be really great of you to offer those pictures through his pastor some time. It sounds like the whole house was obliterated, so I'm sure you're right about him losing all of his photos, along with his family.
i have goose bumps and welled up eyes reading your story!
i would most definitely offer the photos with a letter attached. i would maybe wait until after the holidays...i guess only because i am sure that family members have photos, and this was such a special day, it might just be too much to process!!
and i would offer them through his pastor, and maybe let him/her decide when the time is right!
Oh my goodness!! Such a sad story!! My cousin told me he used to live in that neighborhood too and a plane crashed there when he was younger also.... creepy.
Joy, I agree with what so many others have said today. What a horrible tragedy.
I just reread your message, and thought how closely connected we all are ( 6 degrees of separation right?) and how fortunate that you were in the right place and time to provide them with some joy ( how apt) on their wedding day. These photos will be so incredibly important to him in the months and years to come. I'm sure he'll be receiving a lot of support in the mail- your photos of them will no doubt be cherished.
If you want to have them printed and framed and delivered, I bet a lot of us would be willing to contribute to the expenses.

This whole story is so tragic. I'm sure these photos will mean a great deal to him.

I think offereing these pictures or putting together a small album filled with these cherished memories would be a blessing. I would not do it right away, but I would try to contact him via family members or pastor so that they can give these to him in the future. I am sure he will so appreciate the gift of these beautiful pictures full of wonderful moments/time in their marraige. This is such a tragedy, andI will pray for HIS comforting arms work his miracles and blessings for the spouse and his family.
