Love/Hate relationship

We are in the midst of a blizzard this morning and let me point out I am the last person in the world that enjoys snow.  Meg has never seen it until today.  So I come downstairs at 5:30 this morning, give her a 10 minute scratch/rub and then it is time...

She cautiously stuck her nose out the door into the driving wind, eased to the edge of the covered porch and stopped dead.  My heart raced, hurray!  Meg is going to dislike it as well.  No such luck, a sudden leap, skid, furiously fast circle with nose being used as a snow plow and off she went.  There will be no pristine white snow cover on this two acres and I fear no quick in and out for potty time.  Meg loved the white stuff, and by the time we came back in I had to shake it all off me. 

I don't care how much she begs, I am not going to help build a snowman!

My dogs love snow, too. Vern begs to go outside when we have it and the two of them could play in it for hours. I actually like snow, too, as long as my power stays on and I can get down the driveway. LOL  I hope Meg gets to play outside and doesn't ask you to build a snowman.  Have fun!!

When we came out of work last week and there was a "dusting" of snow on the ground Daisy immediately went into her playbow for me to kick the snow. Seriously there was not enough to kick but I did as she asked, you would have thought there was a foot of it. She was in her happy happy joy joy mood!

Major snow storm headed our way, the only one who will be happy is the doodle and I love the snow!

Snow! Snow!! Snow!!!  Oh the joy of watching a doodle frolic in fresh snow!  Gavin came in last night about 10lb heavier then he went out and had to have towel time in the kitchen to melt.  We need snow pics of Meg!

lol, what a cute post. My doodles love snow too. Winston rolls around in it and Sophie hops around like a little bunny. There is no escaping the now so you might as well embrace it. Get some snow pants and some really good water proof boots and go out and have some fun!

How fun!!

Trixie loved the snow as a Puppy & again last year when she still wasnt one. This year all she says is 'its messing up my Squirrel tracking'.  I miss seeing her run & enjoy the snow (I hate snow)   But she just sits under her Squirrel tree waiting for them to run by...

Adorable... Love he pics. My Shelby has never seen a real snow fall, just a light dusting and some heavy sleet (we live I Texas) and she had a blast... I imagine she would LOVE snow.... Some day I hope she gets to see it. :)
