Help finding a breeder in Ohio, Michigan, or Indiana

I know you may not be able to help me by listing breeders directly on this forum but I am hoping you can email me your thoughts and recommendations.  We live in Northwest Ohio and am looking for a mini/medium goldendoodle puppy - I am in the process of looking at breeders websites but would also like personal recommendations from this knowledgable community - I would like to be able to pick up the puppy eventually and would actually like to visit the breeder if possible so I am looking at a distance of about 5-6 hours - michigan, ohio, Indiana, maybe illinois.
