Adina, in regards to the football player and miss dainty: there would Not necessarily be any health issues, but Miss Dainty is probably destined for a c/section unless the baby takes on a lot more of her genes.

The c-section wouldn't be an issue given that I"m comparing for the sake of understanding dog-dog size disparities.  If the large dog is the female, the birth is not an issue.  In any case Karen mentioning breeds of different body shapes makes sense as a reason not to mix sizes/shapes in dogs.

There is a price list on that site...$3400 is listed...too rich for me

Labradoodles and goldendoodles will run a MINIMUM of $1200 and for a mini probably $1800 minimum.  Breeders who only charge hundreds of dollars generally aren't worth buying from because they don't do adequate health testing and aren't breeding up to standard.

Off topic somewhat, but why do mini labradoodles and goldendoodles tend to cost more than standards?

I think due to demand and the fact they don't start off as mini dogs.

The puppy mills are advertising them in the $800 range. But this so-called breeder is selling the minis for ...are you sitting down??? $3900.00!!!!!
