What a unique and wonderful piece of art, especially given the details of the splotches and the handwriting. I'd hang this one on my wall in a heartbeat!

Oh my! I love this! The history, the creative mind behind the splatters on the concrete, and Jenna for bringing it to your attention! The creativity behind the digital photographs just blows me away. N.

I had the honor of working on a commissioned portrait of Elizabeth's Cosmo this week! I'm so happy with how it came out!

Here's the reference photo, along with the portrait, and a closeup so you can see the details.

For those who are new to my work, I'm a digital artist. Although I enjoy painting on a traditional canvas, too, my real passion is painting on a virtual canvas on my Mac. Using a Wacom tablet, my stylus becomes my paintbrush... or piece of chalk... or ink pen... or a variety of other mediums. (I never run out of supplies, which is wonderful, and cleanup is a breeze! lol!) Each brush stroke is thoughtfully applied as I take the image back and forth between Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter 12. :)
