Chester County with your Dog

Know of any dog friends parks, dog parks or anything you do with your dood in and around Chester County.  We took Henry to Hibernia Park last weekend and it was so much fun!  The whole park is dog friendly and is loaded with walking trails, pavilions, fire pits, a lake, fishing, swing sets.  Love to hear of other parks around me.

Try Ockehocking Preserve in Edgemont Twp.  Its located just off of Rt. 3 (West Chester Pike) and Rt. 926.  There are great trails and a stream.  An old historic barn is being de-constructed stone-by-stone and will be used in an upcoming construction project for a new environmental resource center.  There are protected sites for migratory birds.  So much to sniff!!! Its very picturesque!  Oh, and they are dog friendly but suggest dogs be on leash.  You will see both, dogs on and off leash.

I'm new to this group. Does anyone ever go to the dog park in Exton/West Chester on Pottstown Pike. It's near the Wawa and skate park.  Finley and I like to go there, and I'd love to meet up with some other doodle owners.

I am gonna have to look into that place, it's probably like 45 minutes from me so not too bad.  Sounds really nice, thanks so much for the info!!!

We go to Teegarden Park in Berwyn. Is that Chestco, not sure?  It's in T/E township.  Not official dog park but dogs always there. It's a typical neighborhood playground, sports fields. We always have fun there and meet other nice dogs and owners.

Yes, Marcey. Teddy and I would love to.  I work part time so we are out frequently on weekdays but Saturdays are good too.  We live in King of Prussia (Montco) but can easily head up 202 to wherever we decide to meet.

No, I don't. I guess we could look up any park in Plymouth Meeting area to try. Are you free during the weekdays or do you prefer Saturdays?

 There is a park on Joshua road and germantown pike in Lafayette Hill we could meet there but there is no "dog" park section. I would not allow Rosebud off leash at this park. Do you know of a dog park? I work full time so the weekends are better for me. I have a 9 yr old daughter that would also love to come. Do you have any kids? Also...do you use a groomer near us that you are happy with?

Never been to these but would be glad to try it. Teddy is ok off leash.

We have taken Rosebud to the curtis hall dog park. It is fenced in and big. One area for big dogs one for small dogs. We could meet there and even just walk around the park with the dogs. How big is Teddy? Rosebud is 7 months old and weighs about 28 lbs.
