It's Time !! Time to Play Another Round of Snap, Caption, and Post!

Hello Doodle friends ! Remember waaay back in December, our Southern Belle Doris

(mom of Knox and Flash) posted a very cute picture of Knox rolling in the seaweed ? That was the subject of the last Snap, Caption, and Post.

Now, I wasn't the first to make the reference to something that could be smoked after seeing that picture, but apparently my other uses for it, and how you feel on the Monday after, hit Doris's funny bone !

So, I "won" the coveted INTERCOURSE shirt.

I don't want anyone to think that I've been hanging on to this prize tee since December, because I haven't. After I won, it ran into the holidays. Plus, Doris was deep in the throws of adopting Flash. She was busy, busy, busy ! I didn't actually receive the shirt until January. That was when I slacked off a bit. I had plenty of great ideas of how I wanted to have my picture taken in it. I wanted to be as funny, as Doris was cute in her pictures. However that didn't happen.

My plan was to get a picture wearing the shirt in front of the local prison, in the town where I grew up. I had big plans to stand at the corner of the wall looking like I was breaking out, or something just as clever. The thing is, the guard, in the tower above where I was trying to do my clever poses didn't think I should be hanging around there..... So I had to move on with my tail tucked between my legs, and the great prison picture caper was a bust !

 

Well time went on, and I just couldn't seem to come up with anything else, anything that would work out when my DH was around to use the camera.

Finally today I said lets just go out and get a picture and be done with it. Of course today was also 10 degrees out. We drove to a couple of places that had interesting stories to use as a backdrop, but that is when I discovered that DH really stinks at picture taking !! After a few trys I finally told him to "Fugget About It!"

So without further ado, here I am freezing my Ta Ta's off,

in steamy 10 degree weather, wearing the coveted shirt in all it's fame and glory !

Sheila, I love the prison caper idea. Only thing better would have been if that guard handcuffed you in that shirt while you tried to explain you were only wearing it for a photo opportunity for a dog website :) LOL  Great pictures. Thanks for being willing to freeze to death for DK :)

You know Laurie, I was really surprised when the guard came down out of the tower. A little known thing, to most, except for probably the locals, is that lots of times that particular guard tower is empty ! Figures the one day it isn't...... ha ha He did laugh at my story of what I was trying to do with the shirt. The 2 pictures that my DH did manage to get were blury, or I could have had my prison picture !

Let it be known, in the unlikely event (looking humble) that  the honor of revered shirt of the Intercourse (PA) be bestowed upon me, I would proudly display the shirt with full appreciation of its historical significance and sentiment.  For you see, I actually spent an hour or so looking back on old posts to see how the dickens this got started and progressed to the level of insanity it has!  So, although a relative newbie, with no prior experience with "snap, caption and post," I nevertheless hereby declare that I would abide by traditions hitherto set forth herein to honor the glory of the shirt and all it's historic traditions!                                      The DH wants to know if it is already wet when it is delivered.....

From the Southern Belle to the JAIL FAIL -- you look absolutely FANTASTIC in the Intercourse shirt!  Perhaps I could have saved the Ta Tas if I had sent the shirt to you on a more timely basis!  Oh well, the things we do for DK!  Who needs them anyway!   You are such a good sport and fit in so well with this crazy DK group!  We love you around here!
