Apple Cider Vinegar on The Chew!!

I was mopping my floors today and had the TV on to the show, The Chew.  Well, my ears perked up when I heard Daphne Oz (daughter of Dr. Oz) mention apple cider vinegar. Since she is considered the "healthy one" on the show, I thought I would put down the mop and listen. Daphne wanted to share a few homemade remedies for aiding with digestion.

I thought it was interesting, although I will not be drinking ACV :) I wasn't sure what group to post this in, so I picked this group. Any opinions??

I also use it when dying Easter eggs.

I also use white vinegar to clean the bottoms of vases, and for dying eggs. And it's not bad for getting the burnt popcorn smell out of a microwave oven.

But that's plain old white vinegar, not ACV. ACV is good for nothing, lol.

Yea, I can't figure out why anyone would use ACV for anything - white vinegar yes.

I use white vinegar to clean up Darwin's puke. Also to make sweet and sour sauce. LOL

Ricki, Now you tell me! LOL Another great thing to do with ACV...or as I call it, a miracle in a bottle :)

Absolutely, maybe you should, as a public service, post a daily "Miracle in a Bottle" blog. Each day you could suggest a different use for ACV...floor cleaning...flavoring dog chews.. that sort of thing. I think it would be a big hit with the hokum crowd.

Honestly, the title of this discussion alone nearly gave me a heart attack. Never having heard of The Chew, I thought it was going to be about how dipping your doodle's cow ears and antlers in ACV would cure their allergies and whatever else ails them.

Wouldn't it be marvelous, though, for "The Chew" to have been a parody of the TV show The View, with the hosts all being doodles? Think what fun we could have had with that, if only ABC hadn't spoiled it for us by stealing our title! Who wouldn't rather see Vern than Mario Batali any day of the week?

I really think the Doodles would be more interesting than the hosts of The Chew too.
