I think this is pretty creative....even though I don't agree with the idea of potty pads, I have many friends who disagree and use them for their small dogs.

I saw this once for an office desk area, a kids toy storage or kids play area. All kinds of things to use this wasted space underneath steps.

My understanding is there is nothing under those steps.

Personally, I think they used the space best.  A very cool dog space

I wish now I had a two story house!  Libby would have her own "private" room.  Very clever for anything you use it for since it is wasted space.  Someone had their "thinking" cap  on:)  I like the idea of an office desk area!

Yikes--I know my relative's dog uses pee pads when they are too lazy busy to take her out--and when she comes to our house, she goes on any small throw rug we have and never makes any noise or indication that she has to go, she just sneaks off--I can see people using this to leave a pups all day though and go off to work--guess it is better then making them lie in it--but still...not a solution...

Ginny, our daughter used these to train her dogs (4) and three of them pee anywhere and everywhere now!  It drives me crazy!
