My Finley is 10 weeks old.  This evening I have noticed his chin/beard is constantly wet.  He was taking a nap and when he woke the whole side of his face that he was sleeping on was wet. Is this normal or should I be concerned.  Sorry if this is a really stupid questions.  I tried to search the site but did not see anything.  Could it be his teeth just bothering him?

Thanks for any help or insight.

I don't remember my pups drooling but he certainly could be teething. It takes a while for all those baby teeth to come in.

Thank you!  That makes me feel better. :)

Hes so sweet btw i miss that cute age :)

Oh Thank you!  Your Daisy is precious.  They grow up so fast don't they.  :)

Holmes is 11 weeks and I haven't noticed any drooling... but he does gnaw on EVERYTHING and leave wet spots everywhere! I've even heard him grinding his teeth in his sleep, or snapping his jaws, more like.

Finley is too cute w/ that black nose :)

My Shaggy is 5 years old and his chin is ALWAYS wet. When he takes a nap and picks his head up there is a big wet spot on the floor beneath his head. My Prudence is 14 months, her chin is only wet after a drink, then it dries. I think each one is different in the drool dept.

It really doesn't sound like anything I'd be concerned about.

Thank you so much for your help. I feel much better and the drooling has lessened a bit.  I didn't think I would be such a paranoid mommy of a furry kid.  I was much calmer with my non furry children.  LOL!  :)
