Lisa, The best place to post this is in the Food Group. There is also a list of DK recommended dog foods there and that might help you. You could also try a search by Synergy, as I am pretty sure this has been discussed before and maybe the answer was already given. Good luck!!

Exactly. If I'm going to do an analysis or research a new brand, I'd prefer to keep it in TFG with all of the other commercial food info. And I'm pretty sure we've talked about Synergy in TFG before. Thanks.  :)

Briefly, Synergy is a Natural Balance formula, and it is not a limited ingredient formula. While we do include Natural balance in our Recommended Brands, given that Izzy has GI issues, I would stick with a limited ingredient formula. I would also strongly suggest that you not make any kind of change in her diet until the GI issues are diagnosed and resolved, that will only complicate matters.

So glad we agree Karen. Ignoring the vet! The stool samples have come back fine. Just waiting for blood results now.

Check the above link for the limited ingredient formulas offered by Natural Balance.  You will also note there are other brands that offer LI formulas - they are listed in the discussion.  I agree with Karen to wait on changing diet.
