Izzy update :(((

When Izzy now goes for her soupy poopy a red donut shape appears to hang out! I have called the vet. Waiting for him to call back. It has gone back in. In preparation for tonight, I now have a bed for me set up in the room she sleeps in and because she just poops in her crate, and then lies in it, the crate is gone. I hope I will wake when she moves, to try and catch the poop even if she does it in her sleep! How hard can it be? I think Izzy believes showering in the morning with Mom is normal! Just we use different shampoo!!!!!

Update: I did speak to the vet. He has explained all the possibilities. I have prescription drugs and complicated instructions to follow. I slept on a matress in the sun room with her and she did well throughout the night. She been for a walk, had some breakfast and is playing! She seams well in herself. :)

What did he prescribe? Does he think she will need surgery? Glad to hear she is acting like herself this morning!

Izzy is now taking amoxilin twice daily. Imodium twice daily. Diet change (short term) natural balance synergy. Her diarrhea is so bad that when she does go (very often) just water comes out. She strains and strains. The red donut about an inch long does come out but then pops back in! We are taking it one day at a time. Bloods and stool samples are all good.

Ps. I slept on a mattress on the floor in the doggy room with her last night! We went out three times. At least I got a shower on my own this morning! What a treat!!!!
