Holmes seems to always be on his back. I'll even see him conked out in his crate- sleeping on his back. It's so funny to see. Does your puppy do that too? I'm wondering if they continue to do this when they get older or it's just a puppy thing? Like kids who love being on the floor and most adults who don't, especially sleeping on the floor-- definitely doesn't feel good anymore!

Archie sleeps on his back too- with his legs sticking straight up. Its hilarious to see!!!

That's funny! You should post a pic. of that :)

Buddy who is about 1.5 years, is sleeping on his back most of the time. He will lay with his belly up and his top half to one side. He also loves to roll up next to a wall.

Kona never sleeps on his back but Owen frequently does. He's 2 1/2! He does make us laugh.

Wally loves to sleep on his back especially in his crate where his legs are up on the sides! He is almost 2 and I hope he doesnt outgrow it!

My puppy does the same too. Very cute. It is also a sign they feel safe and secure, as they're most exposed when sleeping like that.

Mojo has several sleeping positions and on his back is a favorite.

Libby is almost two and she sleeps on her back all the time.  On the floor, in her crate and on our bed and when she does I can't resist rubbing her sweet little tummy:)

So it seems a lot of puppies do this then, at all ages too. LOL
