OUR MISSION: "To get homeless doodles to their new forever homes across the US and CANADA via our DK relay system"....


OK...We are going to give this a shot!.....This will involve some patience and trial and error as we proceed and hopefully we can work together to get shelters and rescues across the country to participate and partner with us within the parameters of our common goal and their adoption policies.....

I have posted states as "discussion titles" . You can sign up with your name and city under your corresponding state of residence...Personal email and phone numbers can be exchanged through private DK email until I speak with Adina about making this group "PRIVATE"...

PLEASE LOOK FOR YOUR STATE - I POSTED ALL OF THEM ALONG WITH CANADA...( whew!...I need a drink and some sleep!..lol) Please indicate if you have a valid drivers licence and which states that you are willing to drive to or distances that you are willing to travel. Canadian residents have their own "discussion"..I can't subdivide into territories so please include your province and territory in your information..

HAWAII RESIDENTS WILL NOT BE EXPECTED TO DRIVE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS BUT WE WILL REQUIRE YOU TO SWIM!..PLEASE TELL US HOW LONG YOU CAN HOLD YOUR BREATH!...ALASKA RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME TO VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTING TO AND FROM CANADA AND VICE VERSA! ( International animal transport laws and requirements to be posted as soon as I receive accurate and complete information.)

YOU DON"T HAVE TO DRIVE TO VOLUNTEER AND PARTICIPATE! - There will be plenty of calls, prep and coordinating that will need to be done..Especially if this takes off.....I appreciate ANY help you can offer....

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A RESCUE OR SHELTER DOODLE OUTSIDE OF YOUR LOCAL AREA AND REQUIRE ASSISTANCE WITH TRANSPORT I WILL CREATE A "LOOKING FOR ASSISTANCE" DISCUSSION WITHIN THE GROUP WHERE YOU CAN POST YOUR REQUESTS, COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS. PLEASE INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE DOG, THE SHELTER OR RESCUE GROUP CONTACT INFORMATION AND STATE WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED AS WELL AS ANY OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOG AND THE ORGANIZATION'S ADOPTION POLICIES .

i live in central virginia ( there are not many doodles listed here in virginia), but if i can help in anyway to give a doodle a forever home i will!
