Hi again :D

T minus 2 weeks and counting till my Tobias(tobi for short) is home with me... now i'm just scrambling around figuring out if there's something I forgot or what not sooooo if anyone can help that'd be appreciated.

So far I have:

Crate w/divider

Toys

Bowls

Bed

Clicker/Treats

Blue Buffalo Chicken & Oatmeal

Vet's number

Brush/Comb

Shampoo/Conditioner

Toothbrush/paste

Nature's Miracle

Collar/Tag/Leash

Time(lots of it for a while o.o haha)

and of course you guys :D

but i feel like i'm forgetting something... if there's anything that i'm forgetting please let me know thanks :D

Oh I bet you are just SO EXCITED!!  It looks like you have thought of everything!  Maybe a blanket to throw into the crate so puppy has something soft to lay on in the crate?  Or, even better if you can bring the blanket and the bed cover with you to the breeders and rub some of mom or littermates scent on it.  I've read that having a soft blanket with the mothers or littermates scent can help them to feel more at home?

bully sticks. your guy will chew like a little bastard when he's teething. that'll occupy him and save your furniture.

poop bags for the leash.

vodka in the freezer and a shotglass for you.

i'd probably also get some mineral oil & ear wash to treat his ears. when we got our guy, they were caked with wax and a yeast infection. we had to pluck them, then have the vet do it, before endless washouts.

ahhhhhhhh i almost forgot about the bags and the ear cleaning stuff... haha i think i'll pass on the vodka though haha :p

Congratulations and hang in there with the wait.  I finally talked my husband into getting our guy just before my summer vacation and we went out the next day and got Quincy at 11 weeks from a nearby small breeder- so I missed out on the anticipation.

Is your camera ready?  take pictures at regular intervals next to some object to show his growth.  haha, I did that with my son but did not for Quincy and sure wish I had.  Also wish I had recorded his weights.  

Does your vet recommend heart worm and tick prevention medicines?  

Is he micro chipped?

Have you thought about insurance?

haha my phone is my camera :D i would've took more pics of him when i went down the other to my breeder but i was having so much fun playing with him i totally forgot about the pictures :p

i haven't took him to the vet yet but when i get him in two weeks i will and i've done some research on pet insurance and think i'm gonna go with pet plan

and my breeder will be neutering/spaying the litter this week as well as putting the microchip in as soon as i send the file to her with all the info and stuff :)

Looks like a great list--just make sure all those treats are introduced gradually and rotate the toys to prevent boredom. The shampoo can be diluted to make rinsing out easier...oh and do you have gates to enclose the pup in one room?
