Here it is-his seal imitation. appetite is fine, seems fine except for the cough.

Vet confirmed it is kennel cough. Hopefully, because he had the vaccination, it will be over in short order. Clavamox and cough tablets (expectorant and suppressant) and a nice chunk towards meeting my deductible. I am keeping him as quiet as I can since any exertion gets him coughing.
Thanks to everyone for the help in figuring it out, well wishes and kind words.
I hope Quincy is feeling much better soon! Please keep us posted. Our guys were over it in a few days.
Lori, give him a couple of tablespoons of plain, fat-free unflavored yogurt a couple of times a day while he's on the Clavamox (or a good probiotic if you have one). The Clavamox can upset their digestive systems. Just be sure not to give the yogurt or probiotic within at least two hours of the meds.
I hope Quincy is feeling fine again very soon!
Thanks Karen- I remembered and stopped to buy yogurt on the way home from the vet. So far we have not had any digestive problems and I would very much like to keep it that way! I do have probiotics in the house that I take. Solaray Multidophilus 12. What are your thoughts?
JD takes human probiotics, yours should be fine for Quincy.
Speedy recovery to Quincy!
Poor thing! I'm glad you got vet confirmation of the diagnosis! Also, thank you for posting this video because it might help some of us who have never experienced it recognize the symptoms sooner than we would have if we hadn't watched this. It sounds horrible. No wonder you were so worried. Hoping for a quick recovery!
Sounds like a good YAK would. Just sounds like there is something in the throat. Hope Quincy gets better...
Hope Quincy is feeling better fast!
Ahhh, thank you Sheila and Finnley. His first illness! He is coughing less today on antibiotic and cough pills. We all slept through the night-thank goodness...It's almost the weekend, so we will tough it out. thanks again!
