New Puppy Home!

I picked up our new puppy, Lilly yesterday evening!!! Everyone is so excited she is home. Our breeder is also a vet and she checks her out before she goes home. Unfortunatley, she tested positive for coccidia. She gave us medicine to take and was very upfront regarding she tested positive. Also, she gave us a 6lb back of food, liquid vitamin b (she does this for all her puppies to help with appetitie due to transition to a different location at times the puppies may not eat as well as they should). I also called my vet to talk to them before I brought puppy home - they stated coccidia is not uncommon and stated liquid vitiamin b is fine. Also, I researched this website about coccidia and other owners with same experience. However, I did notice that not all owners were made aware by breeder. Another thing my breeder did was apply Revolution. I have a vet appt today because for my heath guarantee the puppy has to see my vet within first 5 days. I was worried yesterday but puppy is adjusting, stools are firm and we love Lilly already.

Congratulations on your new puppy. Lilly is beautiful. My puppy got coccidia too and it cleared up very quickly. Enjoy Lilly!

Lilly is absolutely beautiful, Janelle! Monty and I will be looking forward to watching her grow. Congrats to you....your family and especially Lilly, for finding such a great home! :)
