***April Doodle Romp*** NEW LOCATION

UPDATED: SATURDAY, APRIL 27th

Our romp is still scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, April 28th 1:00-4:00, however a last minute change of location is necessary. The Minooka Dog Park is temporarily closed. With the warm and dry weather, it was expected to reopen in time for our romp. That has not happened, instead we will be at:

Nashotah Dog Park

Nashotah, WI 53058

It is time for our annual Romp Around the World (RAW). Ours is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th so please mark your calendar. Hopefully the ground will be dry by then and we will be blessed with good weather.

April is such a busy time, so we hope that you and your doodle will be able to join us. It is always fun to get together with old friends and as always we will be welcoming many new faces. Our community of doodle enthusiasts just keeps growing and growing and growing. It truly is fun to spend the day watching your favorite doodle playing with doodles of all colors, sizes and ages. It is also delightful to connect with other owners to chat, laugh and share doodle stories.

It wouldn't be a romp without the two of you. Please stay tuned though. The dog park has not opened due to the snow, melt, then rains. They wanted to make sure the ground is in good condition before opening.. We have had warm, dry weather so am holding out hope that they will announce the opening for the weekend. Sunny skies and 65 is forecast for Sunday, perfect for the doodles. Fingers crossed. I will make an announcement, if it has to be rescheduled.

The Minooka Park web site still indicates the dog park is closed. A  friend lives nearby and I have contacted her to do do a drive by to see if with this warm, dry weather it has reopened. If not, I will send out a new location. Hopefully if this happens, everyone will get the word. Please stay tuned. I will definitely send out an alert. I don't want anyone driving to the wrong location. It is supposed to be such a nice day tomorrow.
