2 Males or a Male and a Female?

OK - I'm sure that some will think we are crazy. We just got Casey 3 days ago and have decided to add another puppy to our home. Casey is trying SO hard to play and doesn't have anyone to play with him. Our dachshund are too old and set in their ways to play and the cat just slaps him or spits!  We have the option of a black male with a very wavy coat, or an apricot female with a loose coat.  So - what do you think?  2 males or a male and a female?  (BTW - Casey is apricot with a medium wavy coat).

Don't give up Lonnie!!! My DH also said NO to a second, but I wore him down...LOL..Now he agrees "2" is even BETTER than"1". They are like M&M's, can't just have ONE~ :)))

My DH wouldn't even consider it at first Lonnie!! Now he says he can't imagine NOT having Oliver!! You Never know. I will keep My Fingers Crossed for You!!! Sneak your DH a couple of M&M's tonight after Dinner!!! Lol..

Drum roll please. . . . . . . . . We decided to go with the black male. His coat is wavier than Casey's.  Now, we just need to come up with a name for the little fellow. I know that he will have his own unique personality, but I just hope that he is as sweet as Casey.

Actually, they are litter mates.  I can't wait either. Hubby will drive up on Wednesday and get him.  Cannot wait.

congrats. if possible snap some pictures of their parents then we can all guess on what they will look like when their coats mature.

Thanks Bob. I missed the chance to take pictures of the parents. Since it is a 9 hour trip, the breeder agreed to meet my husband 1/2 way to pick up our 2nd little guy.  Dad is a party poodle with a pretty typical poodle coat. Mom is an F1 Goldendoodle with a wavy lightly shedding coat.

I am beyond excited!!  Hubby and Casey left this morning. I have a full day at work today, so couldn't go along for the ride.  Our breeder is meeting him 1/2 way to deliver the new pup.  Casey went along for the ride to greet his brother and share the ride home with him. They should be early this evening and I will be waiting impatiently. We are still debating on what to name him. Casey's name was so easy - it just seemed to "appear" and everyone liked it - but the name for the new wee one is a struggle. Perhaps once we see him, his name will be obvious.
