God's gift to puppy owners!

Just thought I'd do a quick post on my new favorite chew, the Himalayan dog chew! Winston loves it and is content chewing on it for hours, which is the only time we get a break! It's hard so it lasts a long time, it doesn't break off easily so there's no worry of blockage or anything like you would with rawhide, and it doesn't stink like a bully stick.

You can find them at most boutique pet shops for anywhere from $15-20 depending on size, but we got ours which is a large one for only $9 on Amazon! Do yourself a favor and get one for your pup if they need something to keep them busy and burn off some energy:)

Thanks for the info. Penny loves bully sticks but they do smell. This will be a nice change. Ordered it on Amazon.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the reco! I actually been searching online for the last couple of weeks for something that was safe but very difficult to chew. Both of mine will chew through EVERY chewy toy in about five minutes...even when they say "long lasting". The only thing that takes them awhile is rawhide which everyone, breeder, vet, friends tell me not to use. I'm hoping this does the trick! They love to chew but are getting fat from all the "chewies" they get! Thanks again for sharing!

If you try the Himalayan chews, I would suggest you watch your pup for a while to see how it goes. My pup loved them and is such an aggressive chewer that she would bite big chunks off and rather than chewing them up she swallowed them whole. She did not have a problem with choking or anything (but...I did see a pretty big piece in her poop the next day.) I agree that dogs love them and it is a good product...just know your dog and how aggressively they chew!

Our dogs LOVE them...they are power chewers & get them as a special treat.

One little tip we've learned...when they have the chew down to a piece that can't be safely chewed any more, put it in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds...it will puff up & be crispy & the dog can finish it off !

Wow that's great to know! I always feel like I'm wasting so much money throwing away that last 3-4 inches of rawhide/bully stick or whatever else. Thanks!.

Me too! Thanks for the tip! And I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who does this....I always thought I was just being neurotic by not letting them chew their entire chewy toys.

Thank you so much for sharing!! My Birdie loves bullysticks, but the last one in the pack made her throw up repeatedly a few nights ago, and I was so nervous about buying any more! I am going to be ordering some of these instead.
